Great Shaking

What a week it has been.  There has been so much going on in the world these days it is hard to keep up with it all.  We are told that when we see these things happen to rejoice because our redemption draws near. (Luke 21:28 NASB).  

We also see things happening amongst leaders even pronounced leaders of the church.  What we are seeing is God bringing forth a great shaking in the church.  He is cracking the foundations that have been established by the spirit of religion, tolerance, and complacency.  He is stirring things up in order to draw our attention away from man, and back to Him.  

Man is flawed, and God is not.  God is where our provision, health, strength, protection, and more comes from.  What has happened as we have taken our eyes, trust, and faith in God and put them on man.  God is saying enough is enough, and now it is time to turn back. 

We are seeing the exposing of leaders in the body of Christ. What kind of exposing are we seeing? The kind that is defiling the house of God.  Approximately 80-90% of what we are seeing today is sexual immorality, and the other is spiritual abuse.  These both are rooted in the spirit of PRIDE and CONTROL.  Scripture says in Proverbs 16:18 NASB that Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling (falling).  This is exacly what we are seeing today.  The pride of man is bringing forth destruction and a great fall.  

I am sorry to say it, but I believe there will be more by the time God is cleaning house.  We need to pray for everyone involved as this always cause hurts and pains.  We need to pray that God will bring healing to everyone.  

Jesus before the great day of His sacrifice came into the temple and cleansed it out.  He chased those that were defiling the temple with a whip.  He was basically chastising those who turned the house of God from a place of worship into a den of thieves.  Again, that is what we are seeing today is God is driving out the junk in order to prepare us for greater.  

I believe at the end of this great shaking, we are going to see a move of God unlike no other.  We are on the brink of it now, and I am excited to see all that God has planned. 

Pray with me: 

Father God, I come before You now to repent for any wrong doing I have done in Your sight.  I ask You to forgive me, and cleanse me from any and all unrighteousness.  I chose to trust You, and put my hope and faith in You and only You.  I am sorry if I have ever taken my eyes off of You and put them on the ways of man.  I know Your ways are greater, and Your ways lead me to fulfill destiny, and purpose.  I chose to partner with Your will and way over my life.  I thank You for helping me, guiding me, and giving me the courage, and boldness needed to step out and be an example of the Kingdom.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
